The marital conflict between Senator Ned Nwoko and Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has escalated dramatically, with both parties trading damaging accusations involving drug use, domestic abuse, and marital deceit.
Regina, in a shocking confession, admitted to using illicit drugs but claimed that her estranged husband introduced her to them “for his sexual pleasure.”
In contrast, Nwoko accused Regina’s brother, Sammy, of being the one who got her addicted and obstructed her rehabilitation efforts.
The senator alleged he spent over ₦125 million on Regina’s family and even sponsored her brother’s education and housing. He shared that Sammy frequently harassed his staff and children and once showed up at his home at 4 a.m., allegedly high on drugs.
Regina, in response via Instagram, blasted Nwoko for lying and trying to destroy her image. She accused him of controlling, abusive behavior, including confinement, forced medication, and sexual coercion.
She wrote, “You say you want me to go for rehab, but you’re the same Ned who wanted me high because you said I’m ‘sexier’ that way.”
She further revealed that their union was never legally recognized, saying, “There was no marriage in any court of law. Love is not by force.”
The ongoing feud, which began after Regina accused Nwoko of domestic violence, has since led to the arrest of her brother Sammy. Fans and Nollywood colleagues have flooded social media with messages of concern and calls for calm.
