Serie A side Atalanta is reportedly on the verge of sacking head coach Ivan Jurić following a disappointing start to the season, with Raffaele Palladino set to replace him.
Renowned football insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on X (formerly Twitter), posting: “Plan confirmed: Atalanta are on the verge of sacking Ivan Jurić to appoint Raffaele Palladino as new head coach.”
The club, known for its attacking football and competitive presence in Europe, has struggled to maintain form this season, prompting management to act swiftly.
Palladino, a former Atalanta player and current youth coach, is expected to be officially appointed soon. The 41-year-old tactician is seen as a continuity choice, capable of restoring balance to the team while preserving the club’s attacking philosophy.
