A Lagos State governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose, has convened a PBAT and SMA divisional meeting in Agege, Lagos State, calling for intensified voter mobilisation ahead of upcoming elections.
The meeting, held at the Women Development Centre, Pen Cinema, Agege, drew party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters from Alimosho and neighbouring areas.
Addressing attendees, Ajose expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded him by party members. He described Alimosho as the largest voting bloc in Lagos State and emphasised the need to strengthen party structures in the area to guarantee electoral success for the APC.
According to him, the creation of an additional political division in Alimosho was designed to empower party members and galvanise massive support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He added that such support would be mutually beneficial, extending to other party aspirants when the time comes.
“I am really happy to be in Agege today. As we all know, Alimosho has the largest number of voters in Lagos State. We have created another division here to empower our people so that we can win Alimosho for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. When it is our turn as well, they will work for us,” Ajose said.
He commended the large turnout of party faithful, describing it as a sign of growing political mobilisation in the area. Ajose also expressed optimism about positive political developments in Lagos State as the elections approach.
The governorship aspirant used the occasion to urge residents to register for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and complete their APC membership registration, stressing that active participation in the electoral process was crucial to supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and advancing his own governorship ambition.
