A female lance corporal police officer serving at the Omi Adio Division police station in Ibadan, identified as Deborah Akinfenwa, has been accused of defrauding multiple individuals and companies of millions of naira in connection with property and land transactions across Oyo State.
In more recent event a group of buyers with a company name BRILLIANT CONCEPT LIMITED claimed to have paid ₦42 million to Officer Akinfenwa for plot of land in the Ago-Ilorin area near Ido. The buyers were allegedly denied access to the land and asked for his help.
Upon investigation, our source claimed that he discovered that Akinfenwa had conspired with a family unrelated to the land in question. She allegedly paid ₦10 million to an agent and facilitated a new deal with the wrong family. Eventually, the buyers were forced to pay an additional ₦20 million before gaining access to the land. The original ₦42 million allegedly remains with Akinfenwa, who is said to be using the money to build a personal residence.

Our source also revealed that Deborah Akinfenwa did the contract of sales agreement of 100 acres which later discovered that the whole land is 62acres at the sum of #600 thousand per acre.
It was confirmed that the case has been ongoing since June, with no resolution until her recent arrest by Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB).
At the time of filing this report, efforts to reach Officer Deborah Akinfenwa for her side of the story were unsuccessful, as her phone line 0703………76 was unreachable.
Investigations into the allegations are ongoing.
