The leadership of Onigbongbo LCDA market association comprising Baba Oja General Alh Rasaq Olamide Akerele and Iya Oja General Alhaja Adeleye paid a courtesy visit to the council chairperson Barr Rekiyah Olufunke Hassan on Thursday April 24th.
During the visit, Baba Oja General commended Barr Rekiyah’s outstanding performance since assuming office five months prior, stating that her impact is evidents across the community. He promised the market association’s support , citing the biblical principle “To whom much is given, much is expected”
Iya Oja General echoed these sentiments , offering prayers for the chairperson’s success and pledging the association’s unwavering support for continued leadership for the next four years.
The market association presented Barr. Rekiyah with a roll up flex banner and customized face caps as symbol of their endorsement and support for her campaing.
Barr. Rekiyah expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the gesture , highlighting the strong bond between herself and the market association. She particularly acknowledged Baba Oja General , describing him as “A brother from another mother”
The chairperson assured the association of her commitment to their needs, promising not to disappoint them.
The visit underscored the market association’s recognition to Barr. Rekiyah’s effective leadership and their willingness to support her initiatives
