In a significant move to boost community development and address pressing local issues, the Onigbongbo council chairperson Barr Rekiyah Olufunke Hassan on Monday signed three new bye laws.
These bye laws were crafted by the councillors under the leadership of Hon Kayode Opayemi who emphasized their potential to transform the community. All councillors were present during the delibrations.
THE NEW BYE LAWS
(1) GATED BYE LAW: Regulates gate installations on existing roads to ensure accesibility and prevent unauthorized installations, particularly important for emergency services.
(2) AGRICULTURAL INITIATIVE BYE LAW: Mandates council investment in Agriculture, promoting food security and economic opportunities.
(3) SPORT INITIATIVE BYE LAW: Engages youths in sports activities, foestering a healthier community and promoting sports.
