In the letter, the leadership of OPC New Era stated that Akinpelu\u2019s behavior was inconsistent with the values, discipline, and code of conduct expected of members of the congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Oyename, the expulsion followed a resolution reached by the national body of the organization after reviewing the allegations against him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He further emphasized that Akinpelu is no longer recognized as a member of OPC New Era and must immediately stop presenting himself as a bona fide member of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The organization warned that any attempt by Akinpelu to continue parading himself as a member would not be acknowledged by the congress.
