HON. PRINCE SEYI LAWAL WEDS IN LAVISH NIKKAH CEREMONY AS FRIENDS, LAWMAKERS OFFER PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS

The city of Lagos played host to a joyful and high-profile Nikkah ceremony over the weekend as Hon. Prince Seyi Lawal tied the knot with his beloved bride in the presence of friends, family, and prominent political figures.

The event was filled with love, celebration, and spiritual blessings as well-wishers gathered to witness the union of the couple and offer prayers for a lasting, prosperous marriage.

In a highlight moment of the ceremony, Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, prayed fervently over the couple, invoking God’s blessings, lasting friendship, and divine direction in their new journey together. He encouraged the couple to always put God first, walk in understanding, and remain united through all seasons of marriage.

“Marriage is not only about love but also about friendship, sacrifice, and shared purpose,” Mr. Ayinde said during his blessing. “May your union be blessed with peace, joy, and a bond that deepens with time.”

Also present at the event was Otunba Femi Ibraimo, a close friend of the groom, who shared a touching testimony about how the union appeared destined from the very beginning.

“The first time the groom met the bride, he told her, ‘You are going to be my wife,’ and today, it has truly come to pass. This is not coincidence — this is divine,” he said, offering heartfelt prayers for the couple to enjoy good health, prosperity, and enduring love.

Mr. Abiodun Akinola, another long-time friend, joined in congratulating the couple, describing the groom as a reliable, selfless, and responsible man.

“Prince Seyi is a man of the people. In over 10 years of friendship, I’ve seen how he carries everyone along and gives his best to whatever he sets out to do. I have no doubt he’ll be just as committed in his marriage,” Akinola said.

The Nikkah ceremony was also graced by several Lagos lawmakers and political leaders, demonstrating broad support for Hon. Prince Lawal. Among the dignitaries present were:

Hon. Orelope (Alimosho Constituency 1)

Hon. Ajayi Oladele (Ibeju-Lekki Constituency 2)

Hon. Jubril Ayodeji (Agege Constituency)

Hon. Balogun Idris A.K.A. Oluomo Kafata (Executive Chairman of Egbe-Idimu LCDA)

Hon. Ayotunde Adenuga (Immediate Past Leader, Ikeja Local Government)

Hon. Lukman Olumoh, representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun Constituency 1, also congratulated the couple and offered words of encouragement. He advised the groom to care deeply for his wife and emphasized the importance of joint prayer, endurance, and patience in building a durable marriage.

“For those hoping for a beautiful marriage, start with God, stay patient, and believe — no matter how strenuous the journey, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel,” he added.

The Nikkah ceremony closed with music, dancing, and a vibrant atmosphere of joy and unity, as the couple stepped into their new chapter surrounded by prayers, love, and the blessings of leaders, friends, and well-wishers.
