The Onigbongbo better life games organized by the council chairperson Barr. Rekiyah Olufunke Hassan took place on Friday 25th of April 2025 at the council secretariat’s new hall.
This innovative program aimed to empower constituents and foester community spirit.
Barr Rekiyah in her opening remarks emphasized the importance of unity and inclusivity, stating “This event transcends religious, tribal, and political boundaries. It’s about bringing joy, and prosperity to our beloved Onigbongbo LCDA”. She encourage participants to embrace the spirit of togetherness and make the most of the opportunity.
The program was well attended , with participants from diverse backgrounds, constituents purchased raffle tickets for a token amount , with prizes including electronics.
Winners were overwhelmed with excitement and gratitude. One of the winners Mr Titus exclaimed “I’m speechless!, This prize will make a huge diffrence in my life, while another winner Mrs Ishola said I’m grateful to Barr Rekiyah for organizing this event , it’s a blessing.”
The Onigbongbo Better Life Games was a resounding success , promoting unity, and empowerment among constituents .
Barr Rekiyah’s innovative demonstrated her commitment to the well being and development of Onigbongbo LCDA.
The event foestered community spirit and unity, provided opportunities for social interaction, and empowered constituents with prizes.
