A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE: WARD B GRA ENDORSES EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP
On Monday 21st of April 2025, the good people of Ward B GRA in Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area(LCDA) gathered at the hall facilitated by the councillor representing Ward B Hon Bello Isiaka for an endorsement meeting convened by Comrade James Imo.
The meeting attended by over 1,200 members aimed to express support for the council chairperson Barr Rekiyah Olufunke Hassan and councillor representing Ward B GRA Hon. Bello Isiaka.
After the welcome address by the former Ward B APC Party secretary comrade Joseph Esio, the convener Comrade James Imo highlighted Barr Rekiyah’s remarkable performance within her five months in office,citing developmental projects, Poverty alleviation, and empowerment initiatives for youths , the physically challenged, and widows. He donated the sum of one million naira(#1,000,000,00) to show appreciation to attendees, and urged support for both Barr Rekiyah and Hon Bello, emphasizing their effective representation.
Notable speakers, including Mrs Yemisi Morgan, Mr Micheal Eyo, Mrs Bola Balogun, and Pastor Emmanuel Orimolade, praised Barr Rekiyah and Hon Bello’s work.
Comrade Ibitoye Korede represented the Youth, highlighting Hon Bello’s responsiveness and positive attitude.
Personal experiences shared by Mrs Uzoma Abuna and Mrs Sadiq from MOPOL 20 further underscored Hon Bello’s dedication.
The convener , Comrade James Imo , moved a motion of vote of confidence for Barr Rekiyah and Hon Bello which was unanimously accepted by the gathering .
The attendees expressed their support for both leaders to continue their work for the next four years.
This meeting demonstrated Ward B GRA’s strong support for Barr Rekiyah and Hon Bello, recognizing their effective leadership and contributions to community development.
