LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION VISITS ONIGBONGBO LCDA, ECHOES FOR PEACE, LOVE, AND UNITY

The Lagos State Local Government Service Commission led by Hon. Kamal Bayewu on Wednesday paid an official working visit to Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area(LCDA) for the fifth time to discuss the welfare of Civil Servants , Managements, and Political office holders.

During the visit, Hon. Bayewu ,

1 Observed a minute silence for the late council chairman Hon. Dotun Olakanle

2 Urged civil servants to cooperate with the council chairperson Barr Rekiyah Olufunke Hassan to enhance the council area”s develooment.

3 Emphasized the importance of civil servants well being and computer literacy , particularly for public relations officers.

The representatives of the Permanent Secretaries (Perm Sec) of the local government service commission and Ministry Of Establishment echoed similar sentiments.

The council chairperson, Barr Rekiyah Hassan promised to prioritize the welfare of civil servants .

The visit is part of the commission”s annual monitoring tour to assess performance and challenges across Lagos State ‘s 57 local governments and LCDAs.

This visit demonstrates the commission’s commitment to improving service delivery and addressing staff concerns. The commission’s leadership interacts directly with staff members, listening to their suggestions and challenges to inform future policies and initiatives.

Conclusively, the Council Manager Mr Abiodun Osineye said the vote of thanks, and the closing prayer by Mr Mikhail Kamorudeen.
