Afrobeats star Davido has postponed the release of his highly anticipated fifth album, ‘5ive’, moving the date from March 15, 2025, to April 18, 2025.
While the singer didn’t provide a reason for the delay, fans remain excited, especially after his announcement of a new single, ‘Funds’, featuring Odumodublvck and Chike.
Sharing the news on social media, Davido described the album as a deeply personal project:
“THE JOURNEY CONTINUES in 2025 with my new album, ‘5IVE’!! This one is straight from the heart – my story, my truth, my growth. WE NOT WAITING THOUGH! ‘5ive’ is also expected to feature a collaboration with Omah Lay, who described their song as a perfect partnership in a recent interview.
