The Chairman of the New Era Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), Oyo State Chapter, Comrade Rotimi Olumo, has conveyed his heartfelt felicitations to all members of the New Era OPC and the people of Oyo State as the world celebrates the advent of a new year.
In a New Year message issued through his media aide, Comrade Olumo expressed his warm wishes and optimism for the year ahead:
“As we usher in the year 2025, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to you and your families. It is with a profound sense of responsibility and hope that I reflect on the journey we have undertaken together and the boundless opportunities that lie ahead for our state and our beloved nation, Nigeria.
This New Year offers us renewed opportunities to build upon our laudable achievements and to create even greater prospects for our dynamic communities.
Our unwavering commitment to the security and well-being of the people of Oyo State remains steadfast. Now, more than ever, we are resolute in our efforts to safeguard lives and properties across the state.”
A Call for National Unity
Comrade Olumo emphasized the importance of unity and patriotism as the foundation for Nigeria’s growth and prosperity:
“National unity is our greatest strength. Regardless of our differences, we must recognize that our diversity is a unique blessing. By fostering understanding, cooperation, and a shared sense of patriotism, we can surmount challenges and collectively build a Nigeria that is inclusive, equitable, and prosperous for all.”
Support for the Federal Administration
He also urged citizens to rally behind the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as it implements transformative policies to stimulate economic growth, create employment opportunities, enhance infrastructure, and improve the quality of life for all Nigerians.

In conclusion, Comrade Olumo expressed his optimism for the future:
